Seattle four-piece Band of Horses gave an intimate in-store performance at Park Ave CDs in Orlando on October 15th.

The alt/country rockers are tacking these one-of-a-kind performances onto their current tour, while promoting latest release, Infinite Arms.

The band has been typically holding the shows at various small-scale businesses such as local CD stores and music stores just hours before their headlining shows later in the evening.

The atmosphere at Park Avenue was perfection that Monday, the crowd excited to have even gotten in (only those with wristbands were granted entrance, while the rules of the wristband were not clearly laid out, making it a game of sorts). The band played a short acoustic set, and even hung around afterwards to sign fans’ merchandise before heading off to their House of Blues show later that evening.

Some of Park Ave CDs’ most popular events are their in-store performances, and this one was certainly no different, the store filling up in a matter of minutes.

Less Than Jake, Underoath, and The Used have also performed here. For a list of present and past performances, visit their website at www.parkavecds.com
